Biography
Hisham Farag is Professor of Finance at Birmingham Business School, and Director of Sustainable Financial Innovation Research Centre (SFiC) at the University of Birmingham. His current research areas are Sustainable Finance, FinTech, Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance, in which he published widely in internationally renowned journals e.g., British Journal of Management, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, European Financial Management, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, European Journal of Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, and Corporate Governance: An International review among others.
He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Birmingham, UK. Hisham is a qualified Non-Executive Director and a member of the Investments sub-committee at the University of Birmingham. He has extensive industry experience as a financial consultant and a successful track record in attracting research funding from reputable institutions. Hisham is the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Sustainable Finance & Investments and serves as an Associate Editor of the European Journal of Finance, Review of Corporate Finance, International Review of Economics & Finance, International Journal of Finance & Economics, Research in International Business & Finance and Business Ethics: the Environment & Responsibility.

Ioannis is a specialist in quantitative methods, focusing on numerical techniques for fields like finance, actuarial science, and operations research. His research has been published in leading journals, including Operations Research and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. He also serves as an Editor for the International Journal of Finance & Economics and holds several other editorial roles.
He is the Director of the MSc in Actuarial Science at Bayes Business School and holds a PhD in Finance from City, an MSc from LSE, and a BSc from City. His professional experience includes working with Lloyd’s Treasury and Investment Management, and he is an affiliate member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Anna Creti is Full Professor at Université Paris Dauphine, Paris; Director of the Climate Economics Chair (Un. Dauphine) and the Economics of Gas Chair (U Dauphine, Toulouse School of Economics, IFPEN, Ecole des Mines). She is Research Fellow, Ecole Polytechnique, Paris and external Affiliate, Siebel Institute, Berkeley. Anna holds a PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics and a post-doc from the London School of Economics. She has extensively studied competition and regulation of network utilities (telecommunications, banks, gas, electricity...), as well as the link between energy, climate and environmental regulation. Co-editor of the journal Energy Economics, Anna has numerous publications in top economic reviews and she also intervenes in several medias.

Hans-Jörg Henri von Mettenheim is a Professor and Director of the Chair for Quantitative Finance and Risk Management at IPAG Business School, Paris. He holds a Ph.D. in economics (summa cum laude) from the Leibniz University of Hanover, Germany. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and leading information systems conferences on topics as diverse as quantitative trading strategies, time series forecasting and modeling, artificial intelligence, especially artificial neural networks, and energy economics. He is Co-editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Forecasting and secretary general and founding member of the Forecasting Financial Markets Association.

Stéphane Goutte is Full Professor at UMI SOURCE at University Paris-Saclay and Director of the Master’s program on Development and Sustainability Economics (EEDS). He specializes in mathematical and energy finance, climate, rare earths, commodities and sustainable transition economics. He is Editor-in-Chief of Development and Sustainability in Economics and Finance (DSEF) and Associate Editor of major journals such as Energy Policy, Finance Research Letters, Research in International Business and Finance, and International Economics.
